Terms of Service

BlitzCap (“BlitzCap”, “we”, “us”) is a free, season-long salary-cap fantasy football game operated by Tanner Matthew Rohr, an individual, in California, United States. You can reach us at blitzcapgame@gmail.com.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, or any other fantasy sports provider. Player names and statistics are used descriptively to operate the game.

BlitzCap is free to play. There are no entry fees, no purchases, no subscriptions, and no payment details are ever collected. The “$50.0M salary cap” and all player “prices” are game units with no monetary value — they cannot be bought, sold, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for anything.

We currently offer no prizes of any kind. If that ever changes we will update these terms first, and any prize offering would be subject to its own rules and to applicable law.

You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. If you are under 13, do not use BlitzCap. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13 we will delete it.

Accounts are passwordless: you sign in with a one-time email link or with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, because anyone who controls it can sign in as you.

One person, one account, and one team per season. Choose a username you are comfortable being public — see section 5.

Please do not:

• create multiple accounts, or use someone else’s account;
• use bots, scripts, or automated tools to play, scrape, or place large numbers of requests;
• attempt to break, probe, or circumvent the game’s rules or security;
• choose a username that impersonates someone, or that is abusive or obscene.

We may suspend or remove an account that does these things. Because the game is free, this costs you nothing but the account itself.

Some of what you do is public: your username, your team name, and your settled weekly scores and past rosters once a week has completed. These appear on leaderboards and on your public profile page, and can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in.

Some of it is private: your live roster, your in-progress moves for the current week, and any preseason roster you build are visible only to you until the week settles. This is a game rule as much as a privacy one — seeing a rival’s unsettled team would break the competition.

Groups are private: members see the group’s board, and someone holding an invite link sees only the group name, who invited them, and the member list.

Player statistics come from public third-party data sources, and preseason prices are derived from publicly published average draft position data. That data can be late, incomplete, or wrong, and we may correct scores or prices when a source corrects itself.

We may also change the game’s rules, scoring, or pricing model between seasons, and — rarely, and only when something is broken — during a season. Where a change would affect standings we will try to explain it.

BlitzCap is provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind. We are a small free service: it may be offline, interrupted, or lose data, and a weekly update may be delayed or need to be re-run. We do not promise that scores, prices, or standings will always be correct or available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanner Matthew Rohr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BlitzCap. Because the service is free and involves no money or prizes, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

You can stop using BlitzCap at any time. There is currently no self-service delete button — to have your account and data deleted, email blitzcapgame@gmail.com and we will delete it. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or shut the service down entirely — it is a free hobby project, and we cannot promise it will run forever.

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and continuing to use BlitzCap after an update means you accept it. This document is currently a draft pending legal review and is expected to change.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
